@JioCare I did not receive Lead Ref Number as a text message, I did not even receive any text message. The lead reference number I sent is the reference number I got from the payment receipt on Simpl (the payment app I used). I know that's the correct one as my friend has also used it.

This lack of support and responsiveness is extremely disappointing. As a consumer, I'm deeply frustrated with the service provided. Due to this experience, I will be porting my current Jio number out of Jio and will never use Jio services again.

I love this I think all smartphone manufacturers should do this when you set up your phone. Giving you a choice isn’t that what Android is about? Imagine One UI and MiUi etc doing this. It would be awesome and also a game-changer. I know Asus gives you this choice with this too. #android
