I can’t believe I have to say this. If you bother to read my profile it should be obvious. I’m not interested in your white power group. Just because I live off the land doesn’t make me a redneck, whatever that is. Nor do I hate gays or want to subjugate women. I am not your guy.

So on day one of my voyage from Brazil to Africa my cell phone fell in the ocean. Anyway, I made it. Africa is marvelous. I am thankful that many people speak smatterings of languages I speak. I have once again acquired a bike and am exploring a new continent. Love the heat here.

@AssusReamus Physical disability. Not being able to live the active life I live now terrifies me. I love being physically active and I relish having a strong fit body, knowing that I am physically capable of almost any task set before me. It’s such a large part of my self image, of who I am.

@LindenmuthWendi I was once told I was very clean. I assume it was because they believed I was unintentionally homeless (as opposed to choosing to live on the road which I do) when they looked at my bike covered with worn (but neatly packed) bags and my clean but patched clothing. I just laughed.

@DebLukovich When I can no longer travel and I have the time to sit and write that may be what I will do. Currently my days leave very little time for writing. I ride most of the day, then hunt/forage/fish for my dinner and crawl exhausted in to my bedroll. With occasional side adventures. 😉

@brclothwrites I can’t imagine either fitting in to my lifestyle. What would the maid clean. My bike? I guess they could wash my clothes. I could have a chef prepare what I hunt and forage for each day but it would probably be a waste of their skills. I’ll pass on both not worth the hassle.

@LindenmuthWendi Salt, brown sugar and flour. If someone would buy them for me and bring them to my camp it would save me the hassle of going in to a town to get them. They are pretty much the only food supplies I buy.

@Mad_Hildebrandt Yes, I fear losing my physical attributes. Being physically gifted is a core part of who I am. If I can’t hunt, track, forage, ride, climb, swim, run etc. I’m not sure I want to go on living. I can’t imagine a life where I’m not self sufficient. It sounds like pure misery to me.
