Reference:– Life of Sardar Jassa Singh Ahluwalia by M.L Ahluwalia.

[Kalal Shahi @Kalal546]

It is widely believed that Jassa Singh Ahluwalia belonged to Ahlu village. However, Jassa Singh Binod and Umdat-ut-Tawarikh offer interesting historical details that challenge the commonly held narrative. I came across this aspect of history for the first time! #Ahluwalia

I think Kunwar Jaswant Singh ji Raja Harman Singh ji ki Lineage se rahe hoge.

[Siddharth's Echelon @SiddharthKG7]

Kanwar Jaswant Singh with his wife Mariam Khan.

Jaswant Singh has the distinction to be the only Indian who was the head of a foreign force. He was the chief of Ghana Air Force from 1959-60.

Jaswant Singh was a member of Kapurthala Royal Family. He was in air force & went till becoming Air Vice Marshal of India.

Marian Khan was niece of Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan. She was only child of Abdul Jabbar Khan from his European wife Mary.

Mariam & Jaswant met in Europe & decided to marry. It created a huge uproar in NWFP as Dr Jabbar Khan was premier of this province once & overall the family had great respect in Pashtuns.

The uproar was also there because Jaswant Singh belonged to line of Sikhs which were descendants of Jassa Singh Ahluwalia.

Although, line of Jaswant Singh was converted Christians but Pathans saw them as Sikhs & their generational enemies.

Jabbar Khan did not attend the wedding. Iskander Mirza held the wedding which was a very high profile event in 1942, times when country was going through a confusing phase.

[Kalal Shahi @Kalal546]

@varunwalia @SiddharthKG7 Actually Sir Kapurthala Royal family belongs to the Tulsi Gotra and it is well recorded in the Pothis of their Kul Purohith Haridwar Har Ki pauri.
Current KulPurohith name is Abhishek.
