@miss_mcinerney I’ve long thought academy trusts shld have mission statements which align with the schools they take. e.g. “Restabalising inadequate schools”. And when that school restabalises it should be able to move to a trust that specialises in moving adequate schools to great schools

@miss_padfield @Hookean1 @edmunds_dr @physicsJ @ChatPhysics A really easy one I do as a yr 12 induction lesson to check their basic GCSE confidence is to give them a kettle, top pan balance, thermometer and stop watch and ask them to calculate the efficiency of the kettle. Do it as a group and listen to their discussion

And I have always done a few optional maths masterclasses for Phys students not doing Maths at A level. I’ve had a-level Maths students attend these too
