@Aaminas9 @MrsThorsenSMS @SchwabSMS@stratford_IC We would probably not know their secrets, if they are true or not, because they would validate it when we were reading their perspective. The story might have been less interesting. #ccsd93#smsreadandtweet
@MiaS_9393 @MrsThorsenSMS @SchwabSMS@stratford_IC@writerkmc You could never be too sure who did what exactly until the end of the book when everything started to go into place and make more sense. They all seemed guilty because they all lied at one point in the book so the reader wouldn't know if they could trust the characters or not.
@IsaiahB_93 @MrsThorsenSMS @SchwabSMS@stratford_IC@writerkmc Most of the book is suspenseful. It does make the plot stronger because there is more you are looking forward to in the plot. It makes you want to keep on reading.
@JessicaCooney10 @MrsThorsenSMS @SchwabSMS@stratford_IC@writerkmc Yeah totally! It is hard to tell who does what in the story because you don't know until the very end of the book, but yes that is a good way of saying that. You should definitely read this book, it is very good.
@LukeB_93 @MrsThorsenSMS @SchwabSMS@stratford_IC Great job with the 6 word boundaries. How did they make a difference in their community by the end of the book? And how did this close up the story? #ccsd93#smsreadandtweet
@Katej_93 @MrsThorsenSMS @SchwabSMS@stratford_IC Thanks Kate! I really tried to come up with something that had to do with About That and about the murder case.
@Aaminas9 @MrsThorsenSMS @SchwabSMS@stratford_IC I really like that! It was cool to see how people might view others, when they really don't know their secrets.
@MiaS_9393 @MrsThorsenSMS @SchwabSMS@stratford_IC@mariekeyn Great analysis! I didn't read the book myself, but I was able to get a glimpse of what you might expect if you read it! Do you think the book would be different for the reader if you didn't know how the characters felt? If there was just a narrator?
@MrsThorsenSMS @SchwabSMS@stratford_IC A2: (Part 2) real life. Another reason why I say this is because you can't really trust anyone until they show you, you can trust them. You also don't know everyone's secrets, and that is exactly what happened in this book. #ccsd93#smsreadandtweet
@MrsThorsenSMS @SchwabSMS@stratford_IC A2: (Part 1) Another title for "One of Us is Lying" would be "Suspects Behind the Screens." I would name it this because all of the kids who were framed in the detention period had something written about them on About That. Everyone could be different outside of what you see in
@93Autumnr @MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS@writerkmc I would first want to talk to her in person and get to more about her. But after that, maybe get lunch or coffee? How about you?
@MiaS_9393 @MrsThorsenSMS @SchwabSMS@stratford_IC By the end of the book, Addy's character became stronger and more confident. At the beginning of the story, people saw her as shallow, not helpful, and almost snobby. She was always viewed as a cliche "popular girl" and that's why they judged her so fast. #ccsd93#smsreadandtweet
