@FortWayneCPA We love Surepayroll. It’s limited for complicated employers but the majority of our payroll has been on this platform for 8 plus years now!
@BrooksBrownEA We’ve been encouraged for 10 years to scale and are so glad we didn’t. Still growing 10-15% year after year but it allows us to grow properly and still maintain more life balance than work. As a female partner it was important to me to raise my family first and scale later
@taxchic_k@bsuecannon Legit the most common things that happen to patients in a nursing home setting. Then they just tell the family sorry it’s the end.
What an incredible open session yesterday at #SYNERGY2024 with special guest Earvin "Magic" Johnson. Earvin spoke to over 1,700 tax and accounting professionals about getting out of their comfort zones, being bold, and doing something different. #TheMagicOfBusiness
@MikeSyl36625988 Personally when we implement new tech it’s not to replace labor costs. It’s so that we can offer more services to our clients. So yes tech & labor can go up simultaneously at a CPA firm and always go up together at mine.
@MikeSyl36625988 I have quit using the TPA and go straight to filing a request with the Congressman for that taxpayer. Absolutely ridiculous that the IRS is operating like this.
@MikeSyl36625988 Ethically I would never call out a fellow professional but for the future of our industry something should be done. If you can’t rely on another CPA’s work on general principles & maintenance returns what can you rely on?
