While the words "thank you" seem like an understatement to express my sincere appreciation today, I want to share my gratitude.
To my team and supporters, thank you for setting aside your political differences and coming together for the betterment of this Circuit. Your dedication to community over party is truly the foundation of this victory.
To my parents, thank you for leaving everything you knew in life behind to come to this country so that your children would have an opportunity to live the American Dream.
To my wife Caitlin, thank you. When I decided I needed to run for District Attorney you had just finished chemotherapy. I had no right to ask you if I could do this, but you never wavered in your support. I love you.
Lastly, to EVERY person who calls the Western Judicial Circuit home, I look forward to being held accountable for the promises I made during this campaign. I will work diligently to build a District Attorney's Office that delivers justice for victims, holds violent offenders accountable, engages in the community, and works to connect people who commit nonviolent crimes with resources to help improve their lives. That’s the District Attorney's office our community deserves. #JusticeForAll

We don't have to choose between a District Attorney's Office that delivers justice for victims by holding violent offenders accountable and a District Attorney's Office that's engaged in the community, committed to connecting people who commit nonviolent crime with resources to help improve their lives - we can have both. In fact, we should demand both.
