Thank you @Mining_Review for publishing my article.
Mineral export projects should test the shipping assumptions before production begins — from cargo readiness and port capacity to vessel suitability and laycan dates.

Konstantin Kalnyi: Why can two similar dry bulk voyages receive different freight rates?
Vessel position, ballast distance, port productivity, laytime and current market conditions can change the calculation.

A better vessel chartering result starts with a better cargo enquiry.
Cargo, quantity, laycan, ports and handling terms matter before the market is approached.

Silence does not mean nobody is listening.
In shipping, reputation is built fixture by fixture, payment by payment, decision by decision — and the market remembers.

Varamar will discuss “Navigating the Storm” in Mumbai.
Another topic for the panel?
An earned broker’s commission that, according to my records, became a WhatsApp “fine”, followed by demands for “repentance” before payment.
Payment ethics matter too.

The cheapest freight rate is not always the cheapest voyage.
Poor vessel selection, port restrictions or unrealistic laycan can cost more than a few dollars saved on freight.

After receiving additional materials concerning Alexander Varvarenko, I am beginning to prepare a new publication under the working title:
Mr. Tsar? Mr. Mentor? Or Mr. Nobody-in-Charge?
Things are about to heat up, as always. I promise.
The broker’s work had reportedly generated about USD 400,000 in commercial benefit for VARAMAR. Publication of the court documents will allow shipping-market participants to examine both legal positions and form their own view. The appeal remains pending.
The lawsuit followed a technical market notice stating that VARAMAR had left an earned brokerage commission unpaid for many weeks. According to the written evidence, Varvarenko then refused payment and “confiscated” the commission against alleged future moral damages.
The Kyiv Court of Appeal has scheduled the hearing of Alexander Varvarenko’s personal appeal. I will publish both his appeal—filed without the original co-claimant, Varamar Shipping (UAE)—and the Ukrainian shipbroker’s detailed legal response.
Alexander Varvarenko’s appeal will be heard by the Kyiv Court of Appeal on 25 November 2026 at 09:40. The appeal challenges the closure of the defamation case and argues that it should be heard as a civil dispute over personal reputation.

Hanna Varvarenko: Alexander Varvarenko’s Wife, a Varamar Employee, a Bluemont PR Specialist, or Yet Another Person Applying Pressure in the Dirty Story of an Unpaid Earned Brokerage Commission?
Many of these questions will be answered in the publication on September 21.
COMING 21 SEPTEMBER
Varamar promised full payment and said the invoice was being processed. Hours later: delete the publications, express regret and publicly “close” the dispute first.
The commission remains unpaid.
“Letter of repentance” No. 2 rejected.
