Best day of summer-start of Riverside-Brookfield Summer Shootout. First game @DePaulPrepMBB v Evanston. Evanston won 55-36. Rams exploring different combinations and playing whole bench. Different summer than recent years for the Rams. @DePaulPrepAD@MikeReingruber
#5 Kalob Hayes of @r2gbasketball can pull up from 20 feet but also put his head down and get to the basket with his length and athleticism to keep the defender at a distance.
@NxtProHoops
Kalob Hayes is definitely the meanest of the three. The determination he shows when he goes to the cup is relentless. He's probably got around 3 And 1's so far. And his crossover game is SICK!
@NxtProHoops
Road 2 Greatness has a 3-guard line up between Landon Hurley, Kamarjai Pickett and Kalob Hayes that is showing great chemistry together. They compliment each other very well.
@NxtProHoops
Kalob Hayes may be the smallest player on the court but he does not back down. Impressive sequence starting with a physical transition finish where he initiated contact while drawing a foul, finishing over two bigger defenders. On the next possession, Hayes forced a turnover while pressing then scored in transition. 2029 5’10” PG plays hard on both ends.

2029 5’10” PG Kalob Hayes showcasing his great vision in the half court and transition. Hayes makes smart reads off penetration can find the open man in transition. Plays with awareness off the ball cutting to open spots in the zone where he uses his vision to generate assists. Hayes came out hard for Road 2 Greatness 15U.

Kalob Hayes does a great job reading his man and anticipating passes. The 2029 5’10” PG gets both hands up and has stolen several passes while defending the ball. Hayes is showing his willingness to defend in the half court and in a 1-2-2 press.
@NxtProHoops@KalobHayes5@r2gbasketball
There is nobody who can stay in front of @r2gbasketball's Kaleb Hayes. His handles and quickness are a lethal combination. The only way his defender is stopping him is by fouling. Great courtvision too.

Player of the Game
Kalob Hayes | 5’10” | PG | 2029 | Road 2 Greatness 15U | DePaul Prep
Hayes was the most impressive player on the court in a win over Rising Sunz 15U. He possesses good vision off the dribble and makes smart reads. Hayes attacked downhill through the zone for a pretty no look assist. He can shoot off the catch and dribble from the perimeter and mid-range. Hayes is a skilled ball handler with an effective crossover he uses to shake defenders at the point of attack. He can play with physicality as he is willing to initiate contact off the dribble. Hayes plays for an elite high school program and is a well-coached, respectful young man.
