@JuliaHB1 you're a freak. a completely unloved, unnatural, entirely manufactured abomination slowly lurching and lumbering under the weight of your own perversion towards oblivion
@WildG_F I would like to comment anecdotally that I often pirate games as a way of demoing them. If I like a game I will go and purchase it, and there are many games I was convinced to go out and purchase that I otherwise would have never even considered
People should stop mocking Uma Musume fans and people who are new to horse racing.
If anything, the racing world ought to be careful not to become arrogant toward those who arrive with fresh eyes. Among people connected to breeding farms, there are, from time to time, figures who turn almost monstrous. Owners are often highly capable people—articulate, persuasive, successful—and when you spend too long around that kind of confidence, it becomes dangerously easy to mistake borrowed brilliance for your own. That is how, every now and then, someone emerges like that infamous farm: unable to listen, unable to see themselves honestly, lashing out with the pitiful cry of, “Amateurs should keep quiet.”
And honestly, I think people like that are part of the reason horse racing has slowly lost some of its vitality.
The moment someone else begins to seem strange or foolish to you, that is exactly the moment you should remember: to someone else, you may look just as strange. That awareness is not a weakness. It is the beginning of humility, and humility is where every living culture renews itself.
When new people enter a community, the right response is not suspicion. It is excitement. Because every newcomer carries the possibility of a different way of seeing, a different way of loving, a different way of imagining what this world could become. New people do not dilute a culture. At their best, they widen it. They bring with them the seeds of ideas that insiders, for all their experience, may never have thought to plant.
So instead of guarding the gate so fiercely that nothing new can enter, why not open it a little wider?
Why not be thrilled that something unfamiliar is beginning?
Communities do not stay alive by worshipping the past alone. They stay alive by making room for the future. And the future rarely arrives in a form that looks comfortable at first. It comes wearing unfamiliar colors, speaking in unfamiliar voices, asking unfamiliar questions. That is not something to fear. That is the first sign that something new—and perhaps something wonderful—is trying to be born.
Let’s create new value together. Let’s welcome new people, new ideas, new passions, and new possibilities. Because the most exciting thing about any world is not what it has already been—it is what it still has the courage to become.
@FuckTeio Several people that worked with Secretariat have said that on the few occasions he lost he became mad AF and would brood in the back of his stall

@Umamusumefandom I would love to see Dr Fager. An absolute beast of a horse that held the 4 titles of Horse of the year and champion turf male/older male/sprinter simultaneously in 1968. As an uma they could play on his infamous jekyll and hyde personality, psycho on the track but calm/sweet off
