During this Expedition 22... Been since Day 1 on Xbox, but after a crash - game said both my cloud restore and local restore would need used, my choice, but both were 2019! Took lots to get a resync, but for about an hour I thought I lost all my main character!
Otherwise, too many cool moments...
Though I was the 3rd person to jump thru Dimension 255 - THAT was a trip!
Winning 2017 NMSCE NMS Explorer Reddit award was cool.
Discovering Ship "Skinning" before we could customize ship looks... We had a dedicated Reddit fit that back then ...

We were Parasoaring... The big sails where high hi up and linger for long periods. That's what she was doing - hence the cold body bag, and looked like she had a supplemental O2 tank for 10k foot plus soaring. People often go up for hours, have lunch, hang out... It's not done in closed areas like jumping usually is done, either, and you can travel quite some distance! So, she could have totally wandered into a flight path. Having a pilots license, too - I could see how a descending plane might not see a white sail. Not excusing it, and could have been done viciously, but if my accident, even if the small plane had collision detection, it probably wouldn't have registered.
Back to you question, in Parasoaring, you have a rig that you pull under you too make a chair, it even lady forward it back (looked like she was)... I'm main sail issue, you have turnbuckles at your shoulders - flip them up, and yank down in the clips, and they release. A spare is packed under your seat, and has its own droge. It's not a comfy landing, but you'll live - looks like she hit pretty hard, too. Cheers!

Now, we build machines to do this - that's where the skill is better used, and produces a far superior product...
