I feel you, except that the same ministry has had members testify that their pastor prayed for the dead, and they rose from the dead. I'm not saying the claims are true, but it's not a case of "e reach human turn... God no gree..."
You're lumping different categories together.
This same Pastor prays for inanimate objects and clowns testify that their spoilt fridges and vibrators started working
E reach Human turn, suddenly God no gree answer prayer again
Abi Fridge and Micro Wave important to God pass Life ?

You can't reconcile them. They are two different conflicting and contradictory accounts, but I trust Christians who hold the Bible as inerrant to gin up scenarios and what-ifs to try to explain away the glaring contradictions.
@Pius_imue@Soulmedika Is appealing to authority supposed to be a logical fallacy when scholarly consensus on methodologies that verify the historicity of biblical events is public information and can be fact-checked?
The OP's post is an argument for a take on it's own, so where are the assumptions?
You can't even drag @Wizarab10 based on the premise they are dragging Taiwo, lol.
His own no pass make woman get family values and contribute to the family's income. He is not that bent on stereotypes and slutshaming random women on the TL.
His fight is of a different kind.
@Pius_imue@Soulmedika Except that it's not my opinion, lol.
For someone with a broader purview of the subject matter, I expected that you should know that the 'claim' is a basic fact and scholarly consensus, but nuh-uh, you just prefer to perform a faux intelligence display about the subject.
Bye.
@Pius_imue@Soulmedika You misrepresented a basic fact in historical biblical scholarship I stated as a 'claim'. It's enough reason to feel better and not want to debate you, lol.
Maybe, when next we have a common ground to start the debate from, I might agree to this debate you desperately want.
@Pius_imue@Soulmedika Lol,
I critiqued his approach as ineffective because it relies on a flawed measurement tool that actually renders it unreliable.
For those who understand how historical biblical scholarship works, the huge logical gap you mentioned in this context does not exist.
@Pius_imue@Soulmedika I'm not ready to debate anybody, Baba. ๐
Impress ke? No worry, I'm not interested in any 'back and forth' with any Christian apologist about the historicity of biblical events.
Let's just assume that you are right about I having '0' capacity to discuss the subject. ๐ญ๐
@Pius_imue@Soulmedika Disparaging? There was nothing disparaging about my response. Just stated a basic fact everyone who takes the Bible seriously already knows.
Intellectual laziness? Na you sabi.
@Pius_imue@Soulmedika Except that it's not a claim. It's a fact in biblical scholarship. There are more effective methodologies to verify the historicity of biblical events (you can look them up on Google; they are open source), and that apologetic stuff he did there isn't one of them.
Lmao.
There are more effective ways to verify the historicity of biblical events. This apologetic assumption doesn't come close to being reliable at all.
If anything, events recorded in the scriptures are in some way testament to the veracity and authenticity of the Bible.
If this did not really happen, it will be absolutely insane for someone writing a fairytale to somewhat include this.
Just like the account of Peter jumping into the sea naked when Jesus appeared to them at the sea of Tiberius post his resurrection. The story could have just been written without including that part, but the seemingly insignificant and unrelated details were included which indeed confirmed they were actual events!
