Right-hander Justin Verlander and the Detroit Tigers are in agreement on a one-year contract. Verlander, 43 next week, returns to the team with which he spent his first 13 seasons and whose hat he'll wear in the Hall of Fame.
The #Tigers and Tarik Skubal failed to reach a salary agreement for the 2026 season before Thursday's deadline. As a file-and-trial club, the Tigers are set for an arbitration hearing with Skubal (unless the two sides reach a multi-year deal).
Salary figures will be exchanged.

I can deal with the Spartan Stadium trough dong situation when we are winning or at least competitive, but when we are getting punked by a shitty UCLA team I draw the line. Need more.
Pretty astounding that, in 2025, there isn't an option for fans at home to watch a live stream of every individual match at the Ryder Cup. Even a paid option. The Masters does this with all 18 holes. There are only 4 groups on the course at Bethpage Black.
