AfriForum dispels myth that whites own 72% of land in South Africa at property rights conference. They own only 21% of the land. Read the report below for the facts that prove this. - @afriforum https://t.co/ZiA4uMBlpl
Today @afriforum is wearing white for Dewald Beetge. The young security officer turns 22 while in a Durban hospital, still recovering from a brutal farm attack, in which he was shot in the face in an attempt to execute him.
In her affidavit opposing Plaaswerf Beleggings' summary judgment, Ms Masabata Mutlaneng, Head of the Gauteng Dept. of Infrastructure Development confirms that the department has no interest in paying market value—she explicitly defends the expropriation and confirms under oath that it was without compensation whether @DeanMacpherson believes it or not.
Dear @Thuso1Africa. You are welcome to provide me with more details of this incident, and we'll follow up. I do unfortunately believe that your claims are absolutely dishonest and deliberate and show that you clearly have no idea how AfriForum safety structures function.

It is not only Afrikaans schools and children who would have been targeted by the Bela Act, but also the pursuit of mother-tongue education for all cultural communities. @afriforum have already had several discussions with traditional leaders, and it is clear that they share the aspiration that children receive mother-tongue education in their respective communities. We can only thank everyone who supported the campaign against BELA. The public’s overwhelming support and the fact that thousands of people participated in the march against BELA were the deciding factor.

Sunday World Fake News Update
Last week, the Press Council Ombudsman ruled that @SundayWorldZA had published false claims about AfriForum in August 2024 and ordered the publication to retract and apologise in the next print issue.
The Sunday World, however, failed to comply with the ruling, with Acting Editor Ngwako Malatji's excuse being: "Our intention is to publish the findings of all the complaints lodged by Afriforum simultaneously."
It is clear that Sunday World knows they will likely be ordered to retract and apologise regarding all 3 separate complaints lodged by @AfriForum, therefore this seems like a desperate attempt to minimize the embarrassment by combining all the apologies into one.
Social media reaches more people than your publication, Mr. Malatji. I therefore suggest you get your retractions and apologies to AfriForum over with.

Tenders awarded by the Gauteng Department of Community Safety. 124 pistols for R9,7 Million Rand? @afriforum will once again fulfill its watchdog role and properly investigate this matter.
