Happy 80th birthday to my friend George W. Bush!
Your friendship—and that of your father and your entire family—has been one of the great gifts of my life. It has always reminded me that long before we’re politicians, we’re fellow Americans and, above all, human beings.
And for the next month, I’m especially grateful to finally have someone older than me! Wishing you many more years of good health, happiness, and friendship.
Our country is stronger when we remember that what unites us is greater than what divides us.
Horrifying. These politically charged attacks have become too common in America. It cannot be normalized, and leaders on both sides of the aisle must condemn this.
Keeping Pete, Chasten, and their children in my thoughts this week.
Yesterday, for the first time in a long time, I felt something that has become unfamiliar: pride. Watching the living presidents gathered together reminded me that our story is bigger than any single administration, election, or demagogue.

Imagine Trump ever being invited to join a photo like this — not in a million years.
Four presidents. Zero drama. Just smiles, respect, and a shared love of country. 🇺🇸
Today, the Trump Admin announced they will be moving critical special education programs from the Dept. of Ed to HHS — an agency headed up by RFK Jr. who has repeatedly made disparaging comments about students with special needs. As the mother of a son on the autism spectrum, I know how detrimental this decision will be for kids and families across this country. This Admin should know better than to mess with an IEP mom. I'm fighting back.

Prosecutors convened a grand jury to compel testimony in the 1995 murder of Pillsbury marketing manager Anne Barber Dunlap, one of Minneapolis’ most talked-about cold cases.
BREAKING: In Episode 1 of Season 3 of “The Case,” we revealed two major details in the Anne Barber Dunlap murder investigation that have never been publicly reported before.
The first: Brad Dunlap attempted to deposit a $10,000 Christmas check at an ATM outside Minneapolis the night Anne disappeared in December 1995. The check was made out to Anne, a gift from her parents.
The second: We uncovered that Brad was involved in a sexual relationship with a coworker both before and after Anne’s murder. That individual later became tied to insurance-related litigation connected to the case, and her story changed over the years.
Anne Dunlap was found murdered in Minneapolis on Jan. 1, 1996. Nearly 30 years later, the case remains unsolved.

@StarTribune@mcguirereports “Some of the fraudsters worked with a competing nonprofit called Partners in Nutrition, but nobody within that organization has been criminally charged”
Why?
@KRobbinsMN Why has Aimee Bock’s former partner & BFF, Kara Lomen, not been charged? Her organization (Partner’s in Quality Care) is responsible for 40% of the FOF fraud yet she has still not faced charges.
@LouNewsMan Why is Aimee Bock’s former partner & BFF, Kara Lomen, not on this list? Kara ran Partners in Quality Care which is responsible for 40% of the fraud yet she has not faced charges - very suspicious!
@PaulBlume_FOX9@FOX9 What about Aimee’s former partner, Kara Lomen? She ran Partners in Quality Care, responsible for 40% of the COVID-19 food fraud but has not yet been charged. Seems odd that she is not behind bars
