Without justice, lasting peace cannot be achieved. As the dialogue came to an end, participants agreed that the African Union must provide leadership, strengthen regional coordination, address security dilemmas, and ensure practical implementation of initiatives in the region.

What anchors Africa’s peace efforts? Dr. Solomon Winyi, the paper presenter, highlighted key pillars of the AU peace architecture including early warning and prevention, the Panel of the Wise, and regional standby forces-key to coordination, response, and peace in the Region.

On 12th/Dec, I had a privillage of leading a team of brilliant minds from @VUKampala to a human rights similation event organized by @EUinUG. Participants got real life experience of how state matters and global cooperation play out on the international stage.
