As a former Minister of Tourism, I commend you for restoring the resting place of Prince Paul Kafeero.
This is precisely the kind of heritage preservation that strengthens Ugandaβs cultural tourism. @MTWAUganda
Finally, my pledge to fully reconstruct the grave of my late friend, the Golden Boy of Africa, Prince Paul Kafeero, has been fulfilled.
What remains now is the renovation and improvement of his resting house and surrounding compound so that it can generate income for the family through tourism and heritage preservation. Together, we shall make this vision a reality.
As the Bible reminds us, βA good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.β (Proverbs 22:1)
I extend my sincere gratitude to the family and everyone who contributed to making this project a success. May God richly bless you all for your support, commitment, and dedication in honoring the legacy of Prince Paul Kafeero.

I received H.E. William W. Popp, the outgoing Ambassador of the United States to Uganda, at State Lodge Nakasero.
I thank Ambassador Popp for his service over the past years and for his contribution to strengthening the cordial relations between Uganda and the United States. We discussed matters of mutual interest and cooperation between our two countries.
I wish him good luck in his future assignments and endeavours.
I had a cordial and collegial interaction this morning with the Appointments Committee of Parliament as they fulfilled their constitutional duty under Article 113(1) to vet ministerial appointees.
