To be clear, the protestors in Iran are not just demonstrating for their government to respect their dignity and human rights. They are saying “death to the dictator,” and “death to the Islamic Republic.” They don’t want reforms. They want an end to theocracy. Plain and simple.
Can you imagine the US government sending armed guerrilla forces to Boston to surround Harvard and MIT and start killing students? Well, that is exactly what is going on in Tehran, Iran as I tweet this. The world media seems to be deaf and blind!!

WTF?? @CNN@FoxNews@NYT@WP Are you F$&%ing deaf and blind? There is a revolution going on in Iran – a country as consequential to the US interest as any – and you look the other way? What's wrong with you? Where is your extensive coverage?

This is Rasool Jalili, Australian-educated professor of computer engineering, who, as the president of #SharifUniversity, watched over the violent beatings and arrests of students yesterday. Videos show that he has been present at the university at the time. Even assuming 1/2
My alma mater, #SharifUniversity of Technology, is under siege. There are reports of students being beaten, arrested, and shot at. The Iranian regime is stopping at nothing to quash protests triggered by the killing of #MahsaAmini. Please help by spreading the word. #IranProtests
Solidarity with the courageous women and allies in Iran protesting for their freedom.
Mahsa Amini was senselessly murdered by the same patriarchal and autocratic forces repressing women the world over.
