The #ICAI has incorporated many fields and extra checks for generation of #UDIN in Audit reports this year.

It seems the system has collapsed because of that load since yesterday as #Taxaudit report due date is approaching and CAs across the country are working continuously to abide by the same.

One suggestion to CBDT/Govt that pls permanently shift Tax Audit Reports, 10B, 10BB etc from 30th Sep to 31st Oct every year and also shift ITR date from 31st Oct to 30th Nov, then Professionals will never demand to extend these dates

🚨Extend Tax Audit due date today!!

Work started at 8 AM on this Sunday morning!!
One of the toughest audit seasons in many years.

ITR due dates were staggered to 31st July/31st August, perhaps to ease pressure on the IT infrastructure without thinking the impact on Auditors/tax payers with an unreasonably short window for completing tax audits.

Please listen to stakeholders and rationalise the due dates permanently. There should be at least a two month gap between the ITR due date and the Tax Audit due date.

For this year, the immediate need is clear :-
Extend Tax Audit due date today.
