It’s hard to even watch him move. With that bent leg, every step looks painful, slow, trembling, like he’s forcing his body to do something it simply can’t anymore.

Years of begging on crowded streets and walking endlessly on harsh concrete have led him here. He’s only 26, but his body looks far older, worn down, drained, and visibly exhausted.

We’ve named this broken tusker Veer - meaning brave and courageous, because somehow, after everything he has endured, he refuses to fall.

With the help of the Uttar Pradesh Forest Department, we are urgently working to rescue him and bring him to our Elephant Hospital Campus in Mathura for immediate, life-saving treatment.
