Denver Diner (1990), Racine's (1983), and Breakfast King (1971) were my 3 favorites. All gone!

I have cherished memories with all of them, especially Denver Diner. Friends and I have eaten there after late night concerts at The Fillmore, McNichols, even Herman's Hideaway. That and Illegal Pete's!

Others such as El Chapultepec (1933), The 20th Street Cafe (1946), The Saucy Noodle (1963), The Hornet (1995), Vesta (1997), Annie's Cafe (1951) & The Fresh Fish Company (1980). The years opened are in parenthesis.

The leftist policies of California has closed more businesses or they moved from California in the last decade than have been started. And this doesn’t include 2022-2025, which is when most of the bigger corporations like all of Elon’s businesses left. Zuckerberg too.

Sad to see it, but until they DEMAND that the elections in California are fixed to stop the legalized cheating, the decline will continue. The Democrats have no clue how or the desire to fix it.
