Factual context:
1. for decades the armed forces have been underfunded and cut to the bone, under the conservatives in recent history there was an equipment scandal where there was not enough equipment to o around.
2. The current government increased the MoD's budget allowing for multiple innovation competitions that saw 14 new contracts to UK based small businesses for innovation into unmanned systems and sensors.
3. Free boared and lodgings for immigrants.
This is a continuation of the conservatives initiative under the current laws, but the Labour government led the recent changes in ECHR that makes it quicker and easier to deport criminals, failed asylum applications etc.
