Game of the Year goes to Funfair. The Judges were impressed by the fusion of theme and mechanics. Coupled with vibrant playing pieces, Funfair does seem to be the complete package. Australian involvement includes games design by Joel Finch and development from Kim Brebach.
Best Gameplay goes to Kanban EV. The Judges enjoyed the use of the automotive development and manufacturing cycle as a basis for the action options. The game is a thought provoking and involved gameplay experience. Australian involvement includes illustrations from Ian O’Toole.
Best Visuals goes to The Damsel’s Tale. The Judges liked the simplistic storybook feel. For such a small package The Damsel’s Tale packs a lot of visual punch. Australian involvement includes games design from Paul Nicholas, Josh Sommerfeld and Alex Wynnter.

Game of the Year goes to A War of Whispers. The Judges were impressed with the tactical balance of the game. Players really do feel like they are working in the shadows. Australian involvement includes Dann May on Art Direction and Graphic Design, as well as Game Development.
Best Visuals goes to Monumental. The Judges were struck with the games impressive table presence. Australian involvement comes from Matthew Dunstan, the games designer.
Best Gameplay goes to Silver & Gold. The Judges were impressed by the games simplicity, and how that promotes some surprisingly weighty decision making. Australian involvement comes from Phil Walker-Harding, the games designer.
