@LeoKRogue im guessing you’re not counting when characters put their hood up specifically when you choose to enter stealth mode, like when jacob would swap his top hat for a hood? i might be misremembering that tbh lol its been so long
@LeoKRogue im more so referring to its statistical impact. my comment also sort of means “why not code edward to always have (?)% enhanced stealth, instead of only when his hood is up” as this allows for roleplay and aesthetic choice anyway.
A nice thing about Black Ops 2 that’s not talked about much are the settings.
It’s so nice to not need a search bar and a rocket scientist for the best audio, video, dead zones, etc etc
@AndreBelluzzo@LeoKRogue a hood does NOT make you less suspicious LMAO what???? it hides the assassin from facial recognition and pareidolia in the shadows but not suspicion
@LeoKRogue the obvious logic would be that in restricted areas, hoods are more effective, otherwise keep it off.
but then why not have edward do that automatically?
it’s not an interesting form of skill expression, just another thing to remember. 2/2
@LeoKRogue cool! this makes me hope that there are scenarios where NOT having a hood up makes you less suspicious, in social stealth/broad daylight/town situations, like when you’re tailing a target for example.
otherwise, whats the point in not just always having your hood up?

Introducing NEO’s 25 Degrees of Freedom, tendon-driven hands — nearing or surpassing human-level dexterity, strength, speed, and reliability.
For seventy years, robotics worked around the hand problem. The humanoid bet is the reverse: it lives or dies at the fingertips.
