@PandaStaubball I've had a similar trip when there was construction on the highway between Duisburg and Oberhausen that also affected the train tracks and DB Navigator showed me a similar route but the train went the freight tracks parallel to the main line rather than the S-Bahn line

@PandaStaubball If the train stops in Gelsenkirchen, I would argue it's more likely that it runs the Ratinger Weststrecke, currently mostly a freight track, and then bypasses Duisburg and Oberhausen, rather than going through Ratingen, etc. a S-Bahn track with 2 hourly trains running
