A 5-year-old boy and a 5-month-old baby girl lost their lives, and their mother was injured in a devastating bomb attack at Tronglaobi Awang Leikai #Manipur#Bishnupur
What fault could innocent children—sleeping safely in their own home—possibly have to deserve such a fate?
This is exactly what thieves and dacoits do before committing an act, disable the CCTV cameras first. In #Manipur, central forces were seen damaging CCTV cameras before nearby vehicles were vandalized. And then people ask why trust is fading. This is one of the reasons why anger and resentment against them are at an all-time high.

📍The story behind the ongoing daily protests. Four years since May 2023 and the daily protests continue. People are still demanding justice, yet the response has been silence, suppression and a push to project “peace” ahead of elections. #Manipur is still waiting to be heard.
Today again when World is Sleeping 💤, a mass Peaceful Protest Rally in #Manipur was Deliberately blocked by Indian Armed Forces by blocking the Road and when protesters shouted at them to Go Back they fired live bullets, bombs and tear gas injuring many.

#Manipur: Tension escalated in #Bishnupur district on Tuesday, April 14, following an alleged #clash between protesters and security forces, leaving several persons injured and prompting an intensified deployment of personnel in the area.
According to local accounts, unrest broke out in parts of the district when a group of protesters, who had been staging a road blockade along the Tiddim Road, attempted to intercept a vehicle passing through the area. The protesters reportedly suspected that the occupants of the vehicle were armed individuals linked to #Kuki groups. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the identity of those inside the vehicle.
VVEZ, a Moreh-based Kuki terrorist group, hs issued a stern warning to CM @YKhemchandSingh if he enters Tengnoupal district.
Their demand? A Kukiland in the form of a UT.
Under the hood, they are proxies of Kuki SoO grps (using KNO badge) & work with Myanmar-based grp KNA-B
Recently during a roadshow in Siliguri West Bengal,PM Modi's convoy paused to allow an ambulance to pass.
Well appreciated by netizens.
But Here in Manipur, security forces stopped an ambulance & frisked the vehicle.
Seriously where are we heading??
How many more 5 months old and 5 year to be bombed and killed before India recognised #KukiTerrorism and end this terror being unleashed on the people of Manipur ?
How many more meitei villagers to be captured, taken hostage and the murders while being filmed to further terrorise Manipur ?

🚨Reality of SF's Cruel & Brutal treatment on Meitei Civilians in Manipur.
Today @crpfindia@RAFCRPF Blocked the road & Checked the Ambulance carrying injured Meitei Civilians in Bishnupur District.
How can Meitei Community expect Protection & Safety from these Aggressors?
Dear PM @narendramodi
You have given priority to ambulance during your visit in many places but what happened today is truly shocking.

Bishnupur District, Manipur
@crpfindia@RAFCRPF has stopped an ambulance and forced the patients and staff to get down despite the emergency.
This is truly an act of inhumanity. Please take appropriate action against those personel who transgressed command.

The family of the victims of the tragic bomb attack in Manipur's Tronglaobi Awang Leikai has demanded that the state government arrest all those responsible within five days, stating that no amount of ex-gratia compensation can replace the lives lost.
The appeal was made during a media interaction at Raj Medicity, where Oinam (Ongbi) Binita, who sustained critical injuries in the attack, is currently undergoing treatment. The attack, which occurred around 1 am on April 7 under the jurisdiction of Moirang police station, claimed the lives of her two children—Oinam Tomthin (5) and his sister Oinam Yaisana (5 months).
Speaking to the media, the children’s grandmother, Oinam Loidam, acknowledged the government’s announcement of financial assistance but emphasised that justice and an end to the ongoing conflict are far more important. She urged authorities to apprehend the real perpetrators within five days to ensure accountability and prevent such incidents from recurring.
