The meeting of Shri Amit Shah ji with Naga legislators from Nagaland and Manipur, in the presence of the Chief Minister of Nagaland, the Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur, and others, raises important political questions. If matters concerning Manipur were discussed, people may naturally ask why such engagement was not conducted under the leadership of, or with the direct participation of, the Chief Minister of Manipur.
This may also lead to public questions: Is there full confidence in the leadership of the Chief Minister of Manipur? If so, why are such important political discussions taking place outside his direct participation? Transparency and clarity regarding the purpose and outcome of the meeting are essential to avoid speculation and maintain public confidence.
Similarly, meetings involving leaders from neighbouring states and representatives from Manipur may also raise questions in the minds of the public regarding their objectives and implications.
At this crucial time, everyone must think for Manipur and work for peace, unity, and the collective interest of the people. Only through trust, dialogue, and responsible leadership can Manipur move away from violence and towards stability.
