Exciting work on #somatotopic_maps, it shows that Teneurin and Latrophilin gradients are involved in their making, and that mice in which such maps are distorted have a hard time finding the location of a stimulus on their body!
The program will feature formal talks and informal opportunities for networking, and we have invited leading researchers in the field from Asia, North America, Europe, and beyond to engage in stimulating scientific dialogue and forge new collaborations.
Our goal is to bring together a diverse group of people to discuss molecular and cellular approaches to study nervous system development, neuronal circuit formation and function, as well as neurological diseases.
The aim of the workshop is to cover all aspects of spinal cord development, circuit formation, and function, as well as to extend the discussion to related areas of developmental neurobiology.
On behalf of the organizers, I wish to bring to your attention “Spinal cord formation, function, and beyond” meeting to be held on March 11-14, 2025 ,at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST) in Okinawa, Japan.
Those interested in neuronal circuits please consider attending our symposium on pain circuits on July 21-22 in Montreal. Lots of exciting speakers!!!! Registration is open to the public now: https://t.co/ZHMTFI6HpK
Hey everyone, first Tweet in a long time. Check out the web site for a workshop I am co-organising. A great training opportunity for anyone interested in neural development!
Pretty awesome stuff. Netrin, is there something you cannot do?

@angoffinet Thank you André. In Brian's words: "Not explicitly studied; so no idea - I'd venture to say it's more represented in the paratrigeminal nucleus (e.g the thermosensory neurons)"
