Yesterday was the anniversary of Olmstead (1999). Let's sit and think on the fact that 1999 was *only* 22 years ago. In the grand scheme of disability justice, and equity/equality, that wasn't that long ago. Barely a whole generation ago!

Ableism (n): discrimination in favor of nondisabled people.

It is entrenched in our society, culture, laws, etc. But it doesn't have to be! Challenge yourself to unlearn ableist behavior/words/thinking and calling it out when you see it.
