We had an excellent conversation with a rep from the LSSC about the importance of a robust Home Rule to local gov. Legislatures constantly impede the authority of municipalities to inject partisan politics into our local government. Home Rule is our protection.

This morning's opening session was all about labor! Organized labor is quite literally the backbone of our nation. Labor should always have a seat at the table, a table that Labor built.
