@KansasResisters@atrupar Its not a done deal. The courts can still and likely will strike it down. The judge that put the hold on it is not ending the hold because the funds were canceled. The DOJoke still has to answer to her request to justify it.
Lujan: You were bragging to one of my colleagues that you have been sanctioning people doing bad things. President Trump's sons signed a deal, as you know, with world liberty financial with a bunch of folks you sanctioned. And now there is an addendum that says Trump and his kids and anyone affiliated with them -- I don't know if it is current wives, former wives -- they are off scot-free
BREAKING: Republicans are panicking that both Iowa and Texas are swinging to the Democrats as Iowa's Democratic Senate nominee Josh Turek and Texas' Senate Democratic nominee James Talarico skyrocket in the polls.
BREAKING: LOL! The Daily Show destroys Ivanka Trump for failing to "read the room" by bragging about her private Epstein-esque island as Americans struggle just to afford groceries.
Marie Antoinette had more tact that this...
“It seems like every day, there’s more depressing news about the economy,” said Anchor Michael Kosta. “Gas is $5 a gallon. Raspberries are $8 a pint, which sucks because my backup plan was to fill up my car with smoothie. Now, despite all this, it’s inspiring to know that even in these tough times, there are everyday Americans out there who are still able to make it work...”
The show played footage of Ivanka boasting about the $1.4 billion luxury hotel that she and her corrupt husband Jared Kushner are developing on an Albanian island in the Adriatic Sea. That would be the same Kushner who sold out our foreign policy to Saudi Arabia in return for a $2 billion investment in his firm after Donald Trump's first term.
Thankfully, the people of Albania are rising up against Kushner and Ivanka with widespread protests and growing calls for a full-scale investigation into the project. It turns out that working class people don't take kindly to foreign oligarchs sweeping into their country with ill-gotten capital to snatch up coveted local real estate.
“Let’s give it up for this couple," said Kosta, clapping mockingly. “And for those of you who are thinking, hey, before buying a private island, shouldn’t billionaires maybe read the room? What you don’t understand is, the island doesn’t have rooms yet. They can’t lay the foundation for those rooms until they burn down all those stupid trees, OK?”
The fact that Ivanka feels comfortable rubbing this development in our collective face as her father forces us to penny-scrape, cut back on expenses, and go without vacations because of his tariffs and pointless Iran War is absolutely infuriating. It just shows that these people live in a completely different world. It's not just that they don't care about our financial suffering, they don't think about it at all.
“We were on a friend’s boat, and we stopped for a swim. Effectively, that’s how we found it," Ivanka said. "We swam to the islands. We went on a hike, barefoot all the way, up to the top. And we were just captivated.”
“I feel ya, girl. I feel ya," mocked Kosta. "Been there, done that, except instead of the Mediterranean, I was swimming in the Hudson River. And the island I hiked barefoot was Staten Island. And instead of buying it, I stepped on a needle and got HPV. But I feel you. I feel you.”
Absurdly, Ivanka is trying to pitch the nakedly mercenary development as part of some personal spiritual journey, calling it a "tangible manifestation" of how she "wants to live."
“Come on, lady. You’re rich, and you bought an island! Just say that," said Kosta.
When Democrats retake power, we must launch full forensic investigations into all of these shady deals. It's high time these crooks were held accountable.
Please ❤️ and share to demand a full investigation!
BESSENT: I believe the president's remarks were taken out of context
HASSAN: No. He said, 'I don't think about Americans' financial situation. I don't think about anybody.' That's a direct quote
BESSENT: Groceries are going down
HASSAN: When was the last time you were in a grocery store?
Rubio: I have never seen Trump fall asleep.
Lieu: I’m going to show you a video that shows you just lied to congress. Here is a video of him asleep while you are talking.
🚨 Arkansas State Trooper Michael Austin Kennedy resigned after his wife filed 30+ screenshots of his white supremacist text messages in their divorce case including calling areas “N*GGERLAND” bragging about detained Hispanics as “trophies,” and pushing to repeal the 19th Amendment.
The messages to his wife Alana were packed with racial slurs against Black and Hispanic people, rants blaming “illegal immigrants” and Black people for traffic and crime, and extreme views like banning Muslims from America. One message read: “You don’t f*king hate them enough. The s*t that clogged up [their son’s] toilet is worth more to me than any of them.”
Kennedy also sent selfies posing with detained Hispanic individuals while on duty, calling them his “trophy.”
Alana amended her custody filing seeking sole custody. She stated his beliefs would “poison the minds of the children” and that the kids feared him because of his hate and irrational thoughts.
Kennedy resigned from the Arkansas State Police on May 15 shortly after the messages surfaced. In court papers he acknowledged the language but claimed it was “outdated” and didn’t reflect his values today after therapy and church guidance. Arkansas State Police reviewed his traffic stops and citations and said there was no indication his views affected his job performance.
A man sworn to protect and serve all citizens was privately holding this level of hatred.
What screening or accountability should law enforcement agencies have so white supremacist views like these don’t stay hidden until they surface in divorce court?
I stood at this pool, at both monuments and saw both reflections…
He’s a God damn idiot, as are the fools that support him. The “Reflection Pool” wasn’t designed by American architect Henry Bacon a hundred years ago to look like a swimming pool. It’s designed to have a darkened characteristics that has reflective qualities to reflect the monuments.
That way, the Washington Monument is reflective to you when at the Lincoln Memorial, and when at the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial is reflective to you.
It’s designed to enhance the grandeur of monuments, create an illusion of reflection, and inclusion of expansive space of unity.
He’s a tacky vulgar person that vulgarizes everything he touches. America isn’t becoming great, it’s becoming vulgar.

New statement from Scott Pelley:
There has never been anything in America like 60 Minutes.
The Sunday tradition is the most successful program of any kind in history. For more than a decade, its innovative growth on every major online platform has extended its reach to countless millions around the world. This spring, at the end of our 58thseason, 60 Minutes grew rapidly with an unheard-of 9% jump in viewers on CBS.
“60” has been the number-one program in America for decades because our beloved audience finds integrity, quality, and humanity in our stories. When stewardship of the program passed to my colleagues and me, our responsibility was to expand energetically into a new age of media technology while preserving the values our audience expects. Now, the new owner of our network is casting this legend aside, apparently to curry a moment of favor with the Trump administration.
The waste is heartbreaking.
Last month, 60 Minutes lost its DNA when our entire senior leadership and two of our best on-air correspondents were cruelly fired without cause. Good people were silenced because they stood up for our audience. They stood for fairness against the forces of political bias; they stood for professionalism against chaos.
For my part, new management has instructed me to inject falsehoods and bias into a politically sensitive story. I’ve been told to include assertions that are unverified. To date, in every case, I have managed to ignore these instructions or refuse them. Recently, politicians have been invited to choose correspondents for interviews on the broadcast. Giving politicians control over 60 Minutes interviews is not how this is done. Finally, incompetence and unprofessionalism in the new management have wreaked havoc. In a case involving one of my stories, the entire program came within 19 minutes of not getting on the air at all.
At 60 Minutes, we have fought harder than anyone knows to save the program that became an American icon. We owed that to our millions of viewers. I am deeply moved by the thousands of wishes we have received to “keep up the good fight.” Most of the men and women of CBS News are still in that fight. But now the collapse of values at the top has become untenable. The leadership of 60 Minutes is no longer recognizable. The principles I hold dear are gone, and so I must leave as well.
I depart after 37 years at CBS with one emotion—a heart brimming with gratitude for the men and women of CBS News who encouraged and enriched my work, very often at the risk of their own lives. I pray for a day when those people and their ideals are honored again—a day when sanity, competence, and courage return.
Scott Pelley
CBS News boss Bari Weiss defends firing Scott Pelley at "60 Minutes," saying he broke the newsroom's "trust" and "that's the path he chose."
"I'm only interested in working in a newsroom that is built on trust and mutual respect. We cannot do our work without it. That foundation was broken and despite our attempts to engage with Scott Pelley and to find a way back, unfortunately we weren't able to do so, and so we had to part ways. We did not want that to happen, but that's the path that he chose. That unfortunate outcome does not discount from the amazing contributions and work that Scott Pelley has done for CBS and for '60 Minutes' over the course of his career. His stories just from this past season on '60 Minutes'... are unforgettable stories. And those are the kind of stories that have always, always typified '60 Minutes.' The kind of stories that Nick Bilton is going to put on the air come September in season 59 with the amazing team that's still there and hopefully from some new people that are going to be joining us."

HOLY SH*T, this parting statement by Scott Pelley is WILD:
"New management has instructed me to INJECT FALSEHOODS AND BIAS into a politically sensitive story. I've been told to include assertions that are unverified."
I bet he knows a LOT more, too. 🔥
