I’ll be honest; this is one thing I still don’t understand.
So many people found BTS because of him.
That one moment: “Wait… who is that?”
That voice, that stage presence, that feeling he gave; he pulled people in.
And He still does.
But once you're inside the fandom, it’s like you’re expected to forget that.
You’re told not to talk too much about him.
Not to hype his achievements “too loudly.”
Not to notice the gaps in support.
Not to question the silence.
Just love him… quietly.
You can cheer for him; but only if he’s standing beside others.
Only if his success doesn’t make anyone uncomfortable.
Only if he doesn’t shine too much on his own.
And the irony is, without him, many wouldn’t even be here.
He’s walking his own path now that is bold, quiet, steady, and suddenly, that love feels conditional.
Like it only exists as long as he stays in a version of himself that fits their script.
But if you stayed, with your eyes open...
If you still stand with him, knowing the weight he carries...
That says something.
About you.
About him.
