REREC, in collaboration with the office of Keiyo South Member of Parliament Hon. @GideonKimaiyo_ launched the electrification of Kewapwen Market in Elgeyo Marakwet County. The project is expected to connect 63 new customers to the national grid, at a cost of Ksh. 6.1 Million
REREC team was led by Eng. Jonah Kosgei, Regional Manager, North Rift. The residents, particularly the youth, were encouraged to embrace the opportunities that electricity brings and venture into income-generating activities, entrepreneurship, to improve their social- economic lives and drive economic growth and prosperity within the community.
