Depression sufferer for 17 years over half of my life. Mine doesn't include crying. More insidious- steals interests, effects motor skills, dulls appetite, and unchecked converts even anxiety, phobias into apathy. Then into why bother living?

Severe depression is no joke.

I have standards. As does my cat. And....I am told I am oblivious to flirting. Though in Ttrpgs that has caused some hilarious experiences.
