My AP was not enough to do what I wanted to do but UNISA took me in, I did a year and transferred to another institution to finish my degree. I'm now completing my Masters in Tax, I will fight hell defending that institution.
Big thanks to UNISA for giving people hope. UNISA is the only university that accepts students with lower AP score, offering them the chance to achieve their dreams. UNISA is a symbol of hope, providing opportunities for everyone to continue their studies.❤️🇿🇦
Drake telling Kendrick Lamar to “read the Bible” only further proves how surface level his understanding of Kendrick’s music truly is. Religion, morality, guilt, temptation, judgment, hypocrisy and redemption have been central themes in Kendrick’s work since Section.80.
From good kid, m.A.A.d city’s prayers and spiritual rebirth, to To Pimp a Butterfly’s battles with Lucifer and ego, to DAMN.’s fear and divine punishment, to Mr. Morale confronting generational trauma and accountability, to GNX sounding almost prophetic and militant in its tone.
Hell, Kendrick prayed to God and asked for forgiveness for what he was about to do to this nigga on 6:16 in LA!
Kendrick has consistently written from the perspective of a flawed, conflicted human being wrestling with morality, not presenting himself as morally pure.
That is why the “beat yo ass and hide the Bible if God watching” line works. It exists within contradiction. Drake responding to it like Kendrick got caught in hypocrisy misses the entire foundation of Kendrick’s artistry and again he proves he doesn’t actually study shit.
Growing up, Masters degrees and PhDs felt like distant, impossible achievements.
Now we’re in a generation where our own peers. People we actually know, are earning them. Tenure is becoming real. Education milestones aren’t just dreams anymore, they’re goals within reach.
The starting point is to understand that customary law and customs are not stagnant and evolve over time. We should not be hard pressed as society on how other people decide to celebrate their lobola customs as long it’s not a material departure from the custom or offensive.
We need a solution for pickpockets at events, like it’s almost impossible to spot them, they don’t even look “a certain way” you’d also want to say people must be aware of their surroundings but it’s impossible at festivals. 😣
In July, we shutdown trading at the Marabastad Retail Market because most of the traders were non-compliant. We were back at the market today for some good news. Trading has resumed. The City has worked with vendors to train them and to ensure they complied with by-laws. Traders have certificates of acceptability and first aid kits visible inside their stalls. They’ll all be issued with trading certificates. When we shutdown this market our intention was not to kill small businesses. Our objective is to ensure that businesses that operate in Tshwane do so lawfully in the best interest of the public. Along with MMC for Economic Development and Spatial Planning, Cllr Sarah Mabotsa, we are pleased with the work done by officials to turn this market around. @CityTshwane
Bahlali, we have succeeded!!!
Minister, @TauParks has withdrawn the Draft Regulations.
Congratulations to all of you for speaking truth to power, making yourselves heard, and compelling Government to do right by you. 🫶🏾🇿🇦
