@DUSKdev Don't think I've ever seen a game with a sanity system that also affects the way the character reloads their weapon.
Think Eternal Darkness, but the worse your character gets the more clumsy they get with their gun.
@nichtmehr33 My neighbours had one installed and it cost them around 10k €.
With how our houses are build its just way to expensive to have them installed especially with how few warm days we get here in Germany, at least.
@HarryLotusEater What's even funnier is that in Dks2 enemies eventually stop respawning unless you go with that one covenant whose name i forgot.
The one you get in Majula on the cliffside.
@Pepipopa@FetusberryJam "who cares if they employ a known grifter partly responsible for games getting worse?"
... Consoomers like you are the reason why this industry will never properly recover.
No standards at all as long as its "good enough".
@TheFoolOfKings @RazorwireRPG Sadly not really.
There are some who kinda tried to be Fallout 1/2 like, like Atom RPG, but ultimately they all don't really hit the same spot.
There is an upcoming RPG from New Blood though which seems to be heavily F1/2 inspired.
@Claysthetics All of the light/med/heavy pen issues would be solved if the armor break mechanic that some enemies like Overseers have would extent to all types of enemies.
@WeaponsVault As someone who actually fired an MG3 (42, but modernized) standing up with the stock clamped under my arm and holding it on the bipod all i can say is.. god fucking damn, he makes that look easy.
@DUSKdev If its not entirely top down but sort of at an angle i always appreciate having an aiming line so i know when my bullets will connect with either geography or the enemy.
Brigador is a pretty great example of a game doing that thing right.
@Pirat_Nation If it wasn't called Resident Evil you wouldn't be able to tell it's supposed to be Resident Evil.
Doesn't look bad but it does seem to be the typical case of "I am just using the name of an popular IP for my own idea."
