Every few months, someone rediscovers the idea that radiologists are about to become obsolete and I have to waste an hour writing an evidence based LinkedIn/X rebuttal.
Wrote an evidence-backed response to the NYC hospital CEO who said yesterday that he wants to replace radiologists with AI.
Covers the Hinton prophecy that failed, our RadLE benchmark data (best AI: 57%, radiologists: 83%), and why hospital administration is probably more automatable than diagnosis.
Please share if you find this makes sense!
Plot twist, they’re letting me stay!
I am overjoyed to announce that I matched at Mayo Clinic, Rochester for Internal Medicine residency, my dream program.
I came to Mayo Clinic as a postdoctoral research fellow, and now, I can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds.
Endlessly grateful to the people who made this possible, especially my close friends and family, my mentors who guided me every step of the way, and @imperialcollege.

The consult changed everything:
✅ New diagnosis
✅ New plan
✅ Life saved
Sometimes it’s not “no options”—it’s knowing who to call.
