"That's all about letting them race"
Interlagos 2021
After starting the Sprint in dead last and Sunday's race in P10, Lewis Hamilton had already made up 8 places as he took on his world championship rival, Max Verstappen, for the lead.
After chipping away at his advantage Lap 48 saw the big move. Chasing the Red Bull down the Reta Oposta, he attempted to dance his black Mercedes around the outside at the Descida do Lago. Max defended with all his lack of finesse and, once again, sent both of them off track, keeping his position in the process.
The political war between the garages erupted instantly, as both sides argued their case for or against a penalty.
Red Bull's Jonathan Wheatley infamously claimed: "Michael, that's all about letting them race", while Mercedes argued he gained a lasting advantage by pushing Lewis off.
Upon review, Max was let off without punishment by the stewards, not for the first time that season. When informed of the decision, Lewis Hamilton sarcastically exclaimed: "Of course, man". Martin Brundle ominously proclaimed that Max now knew that he could just do it again.
The tension during the next laps was more than palpable. An unprecedented title fight was reaching its climax.
In the end, quality prevailed as Lewis teed up his young rival through the Senna Esses, giving him no chance down the following straight and, under the roar of a São Paulo home crowd, Lewis took what he'd later call his "most special victory to date".
Ironically it was the standard set by the FIA on that very day which would come back to bite Red Bull in the Abu Dhabi Finale.
Woke up and the Doomsday trailer still hasn’t leaked, what happened to the game I love. Nobody is willing to die for the cause anymore, we would’ve built statues in your honor
Hungary 2021
The clocks were turned back as Sebastian Vettel chased down Esteban Ocon for the win while Fernando Alonso validated Hungary's nickname as "Monaco without walls" to masterfully hold Hamilton in his charge, costing the latter a chance at victory.
Ocon would go on to take his first F1 victory and the first win for Team Enstone (now under the Alpine name) in almost a full decade. Another crazy race in the 2021 saga.
It also gave us the final shared Lewis-Seb Podium in F1 although Vettel would later be disqualified.

🚨 Do the math on what Jensen Huang just said.
$60 billion today.. $1 trillion by 2027. That's a 16x in 3 years.. No company in history has ever done that. Not Apple. Not Google. Not Amazon. Nobody..
> In January DeepSeek crashed Nvidia $600B in one day. Everyone said it was over.
> Nvidia recovered in 2 weeks.. Then hit all-time highs.
This man watched $600 billion vanish in one morning, put on the leather jacket, and said "we're going to $1 trillion in revenue."
> Every company on earth - OpenAI, Google, Meta, xAI, Amazon is writing him checks. Not because they want to. Because there is no AI without Nvidia..
The AI taking your job runs on his chips , your industry, your future ..it all runs on chips made by one man who just told you he's about to make more money than most countries.
