Privatization of the radars means you have to buy life saving information. The folks that need it the most — usually can’t fork up more money on subscriptions. Disgusting take.

The need for privatization of radars and a radar network has never been more glaring. (Red means radar is down) Thank God it’s not a severe situation, however flooding and the need for rainfall rates is bad enough. This will likely go undocumented except for what official observation sights tell us. We need to advance this area of our weather enterprise.
