I dug into how Brian Chesky, Tim Cook, and Reid Hoffman actually work.

What I found goes against every leadership book I’ve read.

No delegation. No balance. No boundaries.

Here’s what they do instead:

Principle 3: They Chose Obsession Over Balance

Reid Hoffman is brutally honest: “If I ever hear a founder talking about work-life balance, they’re not committed to winning.”

Tim Cook? He’s been waking at 3:45 AM for years. Same breakfast. Same routine. Every. Single. Day.

Chesky admitted his team was burning “70 hours of effort to get 10 hours of productivity” before he rebuilt Airbnb’s entire operating system.

The pattern: These founders made extreme sacrifices. And they don’t pretend otherwise.
