The DOJ has charged 19 defendants in a $4 million fraud scheme in Pennsylvania.

This particular fraud is related home healtch care companies, and Medicare/Medicaid payments.

Home health aides charged Medicaid for services while they were incarcerated, hospitalized, working other jobs, or traveling.

Another scammer claimed he needed extensive home health assistance while he was actively working as a carpenter.

I freaking hate scammers.

@Notwokenow I had back surgery about 20+ yrs ago. It was going to cost me $170/day for wound packing. Because I couldn't afford it, my family Dr did it for FREE. I had a friend who could do it on the weekend.
To think people are cheating the system infuriates me!

@YourFartune @daviexbt Actually in my small town it hasn't changed. I pay tax on the "fixer upper" I bought. After putting 30,000 in it nothing has changed. Keep a low profile and no one notices. That's been 15 years ago. I flipped a house before I bought this one. I live in them for free.

I don’t know what it is with everybody being jealous of boomers, they worked their butts off, went through hell in the 60, 70’s and 80s. Got crushed in the .com bubble, then got crushed again in the 2008 financial crisis and then we’re finally able to retire during Covid. Because they didn’t spend their money on $15 coffee and have $1500 car payments and eat out 8 to 10 times a week. They actually saved their money and invested it, which is what this young generation needs to do and stop being envy and jealous of other people. You don’t know what they went through to get where they’re at. These young people think that they should be given everything on a silver platter. That’s not the real world.
