Tonight, as I stood at the Lincoln Memorial, I looked across the Reflecting Pool and saw something I don’t think I’ll ever forget.
The Washington Monument wasn’t just illuminated.
To me, it looked like America’s birthday candle.
Just 528 days ago, on January 20, 2025, I stood outside Capital One Arena in the freezing cold with one hope—to tell the President how much I loved this country. When I shouted, “We love you, Mr. President!”, both the President and the First Lady acknowledged me. It was a moment measured in seconds, but one that changed my life forever.
Now, on July 1, 2026, I’m back in Washington as our nation celebrates its 250th birthday.
I never imagined that the journey from that cold January day would lead to three responses from the White House. Those letters mean more to me than paper and ink. They remind me that sincerity, perseverance, and love for your country can leave a lasting mark in ways you never expect.
Standing here tonight, looking at what feels like America’s giant birthday candle reflecting across the water, I found myself fighting back tears.
Not because my story is over—but because I’m grateful to have lived even a small part of America’s story.
Happy 250th Birthday to the greatest nation on Earth.
May that flame continue to burn brightly for generations yet to come.
God bless America. 🇺🇸

This time last week I met Donald Trump, the president of the United States. He gave me a presidential challenge coin.
This incredible journey continues to blow my mind.
I came to America because I was offered a last minute ticket to the England vs Croatia game in Dallas.
I started documenting my journey and the great American people wanted me to stay and started a gofundme to keep me here.
I am now writing this in a hotel room in Atlanta after being fortunate enough to attend a World Cup knockout match.
Thank you to everyone who has helped in any way.
Wherever this journey goes next I have the most incredible memories.
In North Carolina, 85 year old Bob Pettit cooks breakfast every morning for his wife, Betty, who is in the final stage of Alzheimer's, wearing an apron printed with their wedding photo. One day, she looked at it and whispered, "That's my guy." Even fading memories remember love.
Elon Musk's DOGE helped end one of America’s most outdated government systems.
Deep inside a limestone mine in Pennsylvania, the U.S. government was still processing federal retirement paperwork by hand.
• Around 10,000 retirement applications were being manually processed every month.
• More than 400 million paper records were stored underground.
• Retirees often had to wait months because of this outdated paper-based system.
• Elon Musk publicly exposed how broken the process was.
Now OPM says it has reached the “Last Day of Paper,” with records being digitized and physical copies set to be shredded.
Elon Musk: “Now people can retire as soon as they want, instead of waiting 6 months for paper to be carried into a mine.”
This is exactly why DOGE was needed.

💥 "AMERICA WILL NEVER BE RULED BY THEM AGAIN." THE U.S. HAS NOW LEFT THE WHO.
History has just been made.
HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that the United States has formally completed its withdrawal from the World Health Organization.
His message was unmistakable:
"We made this decision to reclaim our independence, to protect American sovereignty, and to free our public health policy from a system that no longer serves the American people."
Kennedy accused the WHO of losing its way, citing bureaucracy, conflicts of interest and what he described as failures during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He confirmed:
🇺🇸 U.S. funding to the WHO has ended.
🇺🇸 U.S. government personnel have left the organisation.
🇺🇸 American health policy will be directed by U.S. institutions rather than the WHO.
He closed with a message aimed at those affected by the pandemic and its response:
"America will continue to lead... with science, with integrity, with transparency and with accountability."
Whether you support or oppose this decision, there is no denying its significance.
This marks one of the biggest shifts in U.S. global health policy in decades.
Watch the full statement and decide for yourself.
Governor Ron DeSantis just made the single greatest and most logic argument for abolishing property taxes not just in Florida - but nationally!
"If I go to Best Buy and buy a TV, I pay a sales tax—but I don’t keep paying taxes on it year after year!"
if you agree... get this EVERYWHERE and let's start turning up the heat on our elected officials.

"We will think of Victor every time YMCA is played, like today, and all throughout this July Fourth Birthday week. My condolences to his wonderful family and group, Victor Willis will be sorely missed, God Bless Him!!!" - President Donald J. Trump 🇺🇸
@ResisttheMS Example:
The would-be hantavirus pandemic.
The WHO and CDC were spinning that one up into COVID 2.0 until X rained truth all over their parade.
And just like that - hantavirus wasn’t contagious anymore…
Greg Gutfeld: "You can thank [Elon] Musk for buying Twitter."
"Remember the old line - 'a lie can travel halfway around the world while truth is still putting on its boots?' Now, the lie barely gets out of bed before we put a boot up its *ss."
250 years ago today, on July 2, 1776, the Second Continental Congress in Philadelphia voted to adopt Richard Henry Lee’s resolution declaring the thirteen American colonies “free and independent States” and dissolving all political ties with Great Britain.
The result was frickin' awesome.
In his farewell address, President Ronald Reagan reminded us of a timeless truth:
“All great change in America begins at the dinner table.”
And then he challenged the next generation:
“Children, if your parents haven’t been teaching you what it means to be an American, let ’em know and nail ’em on it. That would be a very American thing to do.”
He understood something that too many have forgotten.
The future of this Republic isn’t decided first in Washington.
It is shaped around kitchen tables, in living rooms, on front porches, and in the quiet moments when parents teach their children who they are, where they came from, and why this nation is worth loving.
As we approach the 250th anniversary of the United States, let’s make sure the next generation inherits more than our freedoms.
Let them inherit our gratitude.
Our HISTORY.
Our COURAGE.
Our FAITH.
Our belief that America, while never perfect, remains the greatest force for liberty the world has ever known.
Tell your children the stories of those who sacrificed everything so they could live free.
Teach them why our flag matters.
Why our Constitution matters.
Why freedom is never guaranteed, it is earned, defended, and passed from one generation to the next.
If America is to remain the shining city on a hill, that work begins where President Reagan said it always has:
At the dinner table.
God Bless the United States America.
Happy 250 🇺🇸
🚨#BREAKING: The town of Chimney Rock in Western North Carolina has just given the "Key to Chimney Rock" to Jake Jarvis.
Jake has worked over 600 DAYS FOR FREE for victims of Hurricane Helene.
He has NEVER once charged a victim for help.
GOD BLESS JAKE JARVIS!!!!!!!
We do not fully appreciate how blessed we are that we don’t have a Democrat president for our 250th birthday.
It would have been endless supplies of, “America has never been perfect. We’ve lost our way. We suck. We’re trying to not suck anymore.”
Beginning tonight, the Washington Monument will be illuminated with an 18-minute projection show featuring the people, places, and moments that shaped the American story, ending with the Monument glowing as a giant birthday candle.
The full storytelling presentation runs at the top of each hour, with illumination lighting the Monument throughout the rest of the viewing window. Come watch any night through July 5 between 9:00 PM and 12:20 AM ET. Best viewing is along the National Mall.
😂The people who claim we can run our ultra-high-energy civilization on such garbage are lying. Their goal has been, since Malthus and then Heidegger, to dismantle our high-energy civilization, not "sustain" it.
