Students are required to bring their computer every day to do work.
Student breaks his computer on purpose, and refuses to pay for a replacement.
Teachers are now asked to provide him with a paper copy of all lessons and grade his assignments manually.

Why do we use word problems? Is it because they exist in real life? Not that I can see. Is it because they're the best way to instruct students? Almost certainly no. Or, do we use them because that's the way we've always taught math? https://t.co/VUdhpquc5Z #iteachmath
RIP to Sir Ken Robinson, an eloquent and indefatigable defender of the role of the arts and creativity in education. His TED talks made him famous, and he wrote major books on creativity in 2001 and 2015. Robinson was knighted in 2003. He died yesterday; his voice will be missed.

“Rough times will always happen, but they will not stay. Good times will happen, but they will not remain. That is part of what it is to be human. The trick is not to get caught up thinking that one moment, good or bad, is something that will stay forever.” https://t.co/efOsDLoMHr
