Question for the seasoned UGC creators…

I’ve been creating UGC for a while, but I’m newer to using X as another income stream.

Since becoming more active here, I’ve noticed a big increase in emails offering portfolio reviews, editing services, and other creator tools. I’ve also seen a lot of casting posts that ask creators to follow, repost, DM, or submit their email.

Is this just part of the creator ecosystem on X, or are there things I should be watching out for?

Also, do you typically apply to these opportunities, or do you mostly stick with agencies and brands you already know are legitimate?

I’d love to hear your experiences and any tips.

@ugc_sarahd Organizing my photos/videos on my phone and deleting screenshots. I seem to screenshot everything so I can go back and remember some thing about it like if I want pitch a brand or remember an edit/hook/etc.

Three months ago, I almost didn’t post this.

I filmed this in April, the same month my brother passed away back in 2016. That anniversary always brings a lot of emotions, so this project meant more to me than most.

At the time, I was also nervous to post my UGC work because I wasn’t sure my friends and family would understand what I was doing. Looking back, I’m so glad I kept showing up.
