BREAKING: HELL YES! Delta Air Lines announces an immediate end to its special privileges for members of Congress until the MAGA government shutdown ends.

Now they'll have to suffer with the rest of us peasants...

“Due to the impact on resources from the longstanding government shutdown, Delta will temporarily suspend specialty services to members of Congress flying Delta,” Delta stated. “Next to safety, Delta’s No. 1 priority is taking care of our people and customers, which has become increasingly difficult in the current environment.”

The dedicated service desk in question allows lawmakers to obtain government rates for trips, make ticketing changes at the last minute, and book multiple seats on multiple flights on the same day to make it easier for them to come and go for votes.

The decision to end the special treatment for members of Congress comes as airport lines have grown ludicrously long in recent days due to a failure by the Trump administration to reach a deal on DHS funding. The TSA falls under DHS so the partial shutdown has them understaffed and stretched thin. Many employees are going without pay and over 400 have quit.

“TSA officers just received $0 paychecks. That is simply unacceptable. It’s difficult, if not impossible, to put food on the table, put gas in the car and pay rent when you are not getting paid,” several airline executives wrote to Congress earlier this month.

At the Hartsfield Jackson International Airport in Atlanta alone, travelers were urged to a lot at least four hours to pass through TSA. Under total Republican control of our government, everything is falling apart. Illegal wars are being waged overseas as our domestic situation spirals into chaos. Trump can't even keep our airports orderly.

Rather than strike a deal with Democrats to end this burden on the American people, Trump has flooded his undertrained, violence-prone ICE agents into airports around the country. They're predictably terrorizing and detaining innocent people already. On top of that, he's now calling for the DHS funding to be tied to his voter suppression bill, increasing the likelihood that this shutdown stretches on.

If the rest of us have to deal with the negative consequences of Republican leadership, the least that the airlines can do is make them feel our pain!

BREAKING: ICE just tried to deport this woman, but there was just one problem — she was Native American.

You read that right: Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) — the agency supposedly tasked with deporting undocumented immigrants — just tried to deport an Indigenous woman whose ancestors have been here for thousands of years.

Leticia Jacobo, a 24-year-old member of Arizona’s Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, was born in Phoenix — but that didn’t stop ICE from trying to ship her “back” to a country she doesn’t even belong to.
Here’s how this jaw-dropping injustice unfolded: Jacobo was sitting in a Polk County, Iowa jail after being booked for allegedly driving with a suspended license — nothing violent, nothing serious.
Her mother, Ericka Burns, was preparing to pick her up and bring her home when jail staff dropped a bombshell: “She’s not being released. ICE is coming to deport her.”

Her mom was stunned. “How can you deport her?” she asked. “She’s Native American!”
But the jail staff shrugged it off. They said they were “just holding her” for ICE. No one — not a single person — could explain how or why this was happening.

Jacobo’s family went into overdrive — calling, emailing, begging officials to stop what was about to become one of the most shameful bureaucratic blunders in modern history. They reached out to tribal leaders, shared pleas on Facebook, and even showed up at the jail with her birth certificate to prove she’s an American citizen.

And still, officials hesitated. Hours ticked by while ICE prepared to take her.

Finally, after an agonizing all-night standoff, she was released around 4:30 a.m. — barely.
And what’s ICE’s excuse? A “clerical error.”
Lt. Mark Chance from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office casually dismissed it as “human error.” Just a little mix-up, they said. The detainer was meant for someone else, and they just happened to attach it to the file of a Native American woman born on U.S. soil.

“We’ll have some meetings about it,” Chance said. “This is silly.”
Silly? This wasn’t “silly.” This was an attempted deportation of a woman whose people are the original inhabitants of this land, by a government agency that has no idea whose land it’s even on.

Let that sink in: the United States government almost deported an Indigenous woman from her own country.
This is what happens when an agency like ICE is given unchecked power — where “clerical errors” can destroy lives, and where systemic racism and dehumanization are written into the paperwork. If her family hadn’t fought like hell, Leticia Jacobo could have been vanished into ICE custody — another name lost in a broken, brutal system.

It’s time to abolish this corrupt and incompetent agency that can’t even tell the difference between an immigrant and an Indigenous citizen.
Because if ICE can come for Native Americans, they can come for anyone.

BREAKING: Former President Barack Obama breaks his silence on Donald Trump’s “bizarre” new attacks on him that are designed to distract from the growing Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

“Out of respect for the office of the presidency, our office does not normally dignify the constant nonsense and misinformation flowing out of this White House with a response,” Obama’s office said in an official statement. “But these claims are outrageous enough to merit one. These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction.”

"Nothing in the document issued last week undercuts the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but did not successfully manipulate any votes,” he added. “These findings were affirmed in a 2020 report by the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee, led by then-Chairman Marco Rubio."

The statement comes as Trump is desperately attempting to fabricate absurd “treason” allegations against Obama. Earlier today, he accused the former president of being the "ringleader" of a criminal plot to "rig an election" and "lead a coup."

He also accused Obama of being "sedatious," which was presumably a mispronunciation of "seditious."

Last week Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released declassified materials that she allged prove that Obama and top aides "manufactured and politicized intelligence" connected to Russian efforts to undermine the 2016 election in order "to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President Trump."

Predictably, there was no substance to the accusations and no evidence of wrongdoing on Obama’s part in the documents. This is a laughably transparent effort to drag media attention away from Donald Trump’s refusal to release the Epstein files.
