@mikemcalister Clearly, the people who built Gutenberg have no clue about web design or web development. Your entire argument defending it is nonsense. Just accept it — it’s not made for real websites, it’s a blog editor. And spending time on GitHub won’t change anything.
@photomatt@imbradmiller@automattic@wpengine@WordPress They’re part of the ecosystem.
They offer plugins and hosting for WordPress, indirectly supporting you.
Going against your own community like this does more harm than good.
@RinodeBoer@idipanshukr You said AI writes better front-end code than humans, yet you’ve tested Figma-to-Elementor tools yourself. That alone shows how bad AI still is at real front-end work.
@RinodeBoer@idipanshukr I don’t get it. Even Figma to code or Elementor to code is a bad experience. AI isn’t great at converting custom designs into code, and you usually waste more time fixing the mess it creates. You’d honestly be faster just coding it yourself.
@WordPress Do you actually realize that the reason WordPress is still relevant is because of third-party developers and not WordPress itself? You are the reason why people make fun of it.
@WordPress@WPTutz I don’t understand why you didn’t build your own complete version of ACF instead of wasting time on unnecessary beefs and just copying it.
@JamesWelbes The thing with him is that he’s too ignorant to actually take the time to learn this stuff because he wants to be a modern no-code developer.
@jordwalke This is very disrespectful. Do you simply not care about accessibility? Just because something is complicated doesn’t mean people with disabilities should be ignored.
@owendesign Do you have any real example websites that you’ve actually built with AI? Because that doesn’t sound real… honestly, it feels a bit made-up.
@SethRubenstein It’s 2026 — a little too late. I only use Gutenberg for blog posts, but otherwise I don’t understand why development is so slow. Other third-party developers implement this in a day.
@ShitpostGate I’m pretty sure he sold his bitcoins way too early, and now he’s trying to make money with these weird coins. Otherwise, it just doesn’t make sense.
