@CalumLancastle @maitlis This is not a fact, it's an opinion. that's the trouble here/ both sides are arguing based on their opinions which they hold often for ideological reasons. both sides need to learn to listen and ask questions, accept realities and compromise based on facts.

@CrimeGirI I think the terms get mixed up by a lot of people- they probably say 'asylum seekers' to mean anyone on a boat, but they really mean migrants from 'safe' countries like albania if they're here without permission, and in fairness, they have a point about that. maybe you agree?

Been thinking about the news lately & I lots of people eager to see the opposition fall apart . Each party should be grateful the other exists- and hope for stability within them, cause they both keep the extreme L&R out of power. Without them things could get a LOT worse.

@JuliaHB1 actually it is a crisis. and it is backed up by the data, and lots of it. you don't believe it because you can't shift your beliefs which you hold for illogical reasons. Unfortunately that's how the mind works- it's the same mechanism that creates different false religions.
