@BasicLogicIQ When I say Supreme Court, it is the Missouri Supreme Court. The State doesn't want to use tax dollars to hold inmates and are using the philosophy that a person shouldn't be held just because they don't have money to bond out.

@BasicLogicIQ In my State, the Supreme Court sets rules for the Judges. Since covid, they've started pretrial risk assessments and bond hearings within 48 hours and if not released a hearing every 7 days after. They have to fill out a long form showing reasons the person is being held.
