Module 6: Just recently started to use google forms as a form of assessment. It helped me to assess knowledge quickly as well as get students familiar with how a problem could look on the PARCC #FCPSDLE

@DRossTeaches Yes, agreed. That aspect of getting students to discuss is still such a challenge for me. I have realized that I need to give sentence starters to help me and the students get started.

#FCPSDLE Module 3 For helping students write better questions I like using sentence starters. It gives the students a helpful hint on where to go when trying to write their own.

@Sara_Shunkwiler #FCPSDLE I acutally think this would be a great tool to use for module 3 question. You and the student can open the doc together and go back and forth writing and answering each other's questions!

@MsMsaysREAD I love sticky notes! #FCPSDLE When working through an assignment I write each question to answer on a sticky and then place them in the text where I think it gets answered.

Module 2. I love using Ted Talks. The presenters are always so dynamic, many using visuals alongside their verbal explanations. I also use TeachersPayTeachers. The site allows me to find several different formats to explain a skill while also supporting my community. #FCPSDLE

@mrskaveney #CCSS definitely forces both teacher and student to fully understand the content to be then be successful on assessments. A more focused and in-depth understanding is now a necessity for all involved #FCPSDLE
