Thinking about creating a portable vowel valley and consonant sound wall on a tri-fold. Tips for implementing this as a push in/pull out reading teacher? #sor#soundwall
All too much, we rely on intervention. Investing in rich curriculum and classroom teachers knowledge of the curriculum, may help prevent that lag in student achievement.
When Tier 1 is weak, lots of students look like they need intervention.
When Tier 2 is weak, lots of students look like they need Tier 3 or special education.
Strong investments in Tier 1 & Tier 2 is a critical starting place for prevention.

Teaching the science of reading helps teachers understand how the brain learns language and the natural learning process. Understanding how to teach reading can dramatically change the educational system.
